When Christen first contacted me about shooting her May wedding, she included a save-the-date video that she and her filmmaker fiance, Will, had made that had me smiling enough to know they would be a lot of fun to work with, and they did not disappoint! We spent their engagement session roaming around South Congress in the heart of Austin and managed to find a few gorgeous spots away from all of the normal chaos and crowds. Then we headed out to one of my favorite spots, McKinney Falls State Park, to finish up just before sunset. As you can tell from their photos, these two spend a lot of time laughing together and I can’t wait to be a part of their wedding next month!

I always appreciate an adventurous couple, so when Brooke asked if I’d be up for shooting at Reimer’s Ranch, I was 100% on board! It was well worth the climbing over rocks and lugging equipment around to capture such a fun couple in a beautiful place. We ended the session at Brooke’s family’s property just in time for sunset. I can’t wait to share their gorgeous wedding photos from last month, but until then–enjoy a bit of sunshine on this dreary Austin day!

I was fortunate enough to call Courtney a client this last year and she was a stunning one at that! We shot her sun-drenched bridal session out on the lake just outside of Austin and she slayyyyed. Most clients come to me feeling pretty nervous to get in front of the camera but Court was a natural. I can’t get over how much beauty was wrapped up into this wedding day! Being from two different cultural backgrounds only made Senushi and Ryan’s celebration more heartfelt and unique! We started off the day with a meaningful Catholic ceremony in the heart of Tulsa, followed by a Buddhist ceremony on the beautiful grounds of the Tulsa Garden Center that evening. Senushi’s romantic vision came to life flawlessly thanks to the stunning florals, soft color palette, and of course, the sweet couple. I’m so excited to finally show these off! Congratulations Mr. and Mrs. Sullivan–if your wedding is any indication of your life ahead, we’re all in for a treat.

And special thanks to Style Me Pretty for featuring Senushi & Ryan’s wedding on their front page this week! You can see more HERE.

Between this amazing couple, and the talented team of vendors involved, this Austin wedding was an absolute dream to be a part of! Barr Mansion served as the perfect backdrop for Alexis and Cason’s spring wedding. Their heartfelt ceremony was held under a flower adorned tree and their guests were treated to a surprise gospel choir performance following the first kiss. Every detail was perfect but my most favorite part of the day was when we captured Cason seeing his bride for the first time. You can see more below!

And a big thanks to Style Me Pretty for featuring this wedding last month! You can see more from them (and the newlyweds) here!
