Cody and Nicole hosted the most beautiful Austin wedding entirely outdoors on the lawn of the Four Seasons in the middle of January, although you wouldn’t guess it was winter from the photos. Ren and the talented team from 36th Street Events transformed the space into a lush, jewel-toned, garden party with incredible florals from Stems Floral Design. It was such a pleasure to photograph this sweet, genuine couple on their amazing day–I’m still dying over all of the rich color and details. Check out some more from the day below, and I wanted to send a huge thank you to Style Me Pretty for featuring this lovely event on their front page today!
I have had the most radiant brides this year, and Emily is the perfect example! This stylish Austin bride is as beautiful on the outside as she is on the inside and she has an infectious laugh that I was more than happy to capture on film. We shot her bridal session on a gorgeous spring day at the Smith Family Chapel in Austin and one of my favorite aspects of her look was her lovely circle veil and the way the sunlight beamed through it. Enjoy some of my favorite images from her session!

In honor of Philadelphia Eagles linebacker, Jordan and Ivana’s wedding day (TODAY!), I am thrilled to show off more from this gorgeous couple’s engagement session. It was clear from the beginning that these two are each other’s biggest fans, and I can’t wait to see where married life takes them. With Jordan’s NFL career in full swing, they split their time between Austin and Philly with the cutest little family of pups in tow. For more from our sweet bride Ivana on what it’s like planning a wedding between two cities, make sure to check out her interview on Brides of Austin from earlier this week and congratulations to these happy friends!
When Christen first contacted me about shooting her May wedding, she included a save-the-date video that she and her filmmaker fiance, Will, had made that had me smiling enough to know they would be a lot of fun to work with, and they did not disappoint! We spent their engagement session roaming around South Congress in the heart of Austin and managed to find a few gorgeous spots away from all of the normal chaos and crowds. Then we headed out to one of my favorite spots, McKinney Falls State Park, to finish up just before sunset. As you can tell from their photos, these two spend a lot of time laughing together and I can’t wait to be a part of their wedding next month!

I always appreciate an adventurous couple, so when Brooke asked if I’d be up for shooting at Reimer’s Ranch, I was 100% on board! It was well worth the climbing over rocks and lugging equipment around to capture such a fun couple in a beautiful place. We ended the session at Brooke’s family’s property just in time for sunset. I can’t wait to share their gorgeous wedding photos from last month, but until then–enjoy a bit of sunshine on this dreary Austin day!
